Our Story

A House Built on Devotion to the Bride

"I believe every bride deserves a gown that was made thinking only of her."

Maison Blanche was founded in 2009 from a small atelier in Paris, driven by a single conviction: that the gown worn on a wedding day should feel not merely beautiful, but like an extension of the woman herself.

Each piece is conceived in private conversation with the bride, shaped through months of design dialogue, and finished entirely by hand. We work with only the finest silk organza, point de Venise lace, and Chantilly tulle — materials that drape with the weight of memory.

We accept a small number of commissions each season. This is not limitation. It is devotion.

The Finishing Touch

The Art of Making

Where Patience Becomes Beauty

01

Fabric Selection

We source only from the most revered mills — Lyon silks, Brussels lace, Murano embroidery. Every cloth is chosen for how it moves, catches light, and feels against skin.

02

Pattern Making

Our master pattern-maker creates a unique toile for each bride. No template. No compromise. Each pattern begins and ends with a single silhouette in mind — yours.

03

Hand Finishing

Every seam is pressed by hand. Every bead is sewn by a single artisan. The hem of a Maison Blanche gown takes three days alone. Detail is not excess — it is integrity.

04

Final Fittings

Three private fittings allow the gown to become a second skin. We adjust until it moves with you, breathes with you, and holds you exactly as it should on your most important day.

Client Stories

Moments Remembered

"

I walked in with a feeling I couldn't describe, and Isabelle somehow translated it into a gown that made everyone in the room go silent. I have never felt so completely myself.

"

The process itself was as meaningful as the gown. Every fitting felt like a private ceremony. The attention to detail was unlike anything I had experienced in fashion.

Sophie de Beaumont
Married, October 2023 — Paris
"

My gown was a love letter — to the day, to my partner, to myself. Wearing it felt like being held. Six months later I still take it out just to touch the fabric.

Questions

Before We Begin

How far in advance should I book my consultation?
We recommend beginning your journey 12–18 months before your wedding date. Our creation period is typically 8–10 months, and we reserve time for alterations and fittings in the final weeks. If your timeline is shorter, please reach out — we occasionally accommodate limited last-minute commissions.
Do you create gowns from scratch, or work with existing designs?
Every Maison Blanche gown is created entirely from scratch for the individual bride. We do not sell off-the-rack or use standard patterns. Your consultation begins with blank pages and your story — nothing else.
What is the pricing structure for a custom gown?
Our bespoke commissions begin at €12,000. Final pricing depends on the complexity of design, fabric selection, and embellishment detail. We provide a transparent, itemised quote following your first consultation — no surprises.
Can I request alterations after my final fitting?
Yes. We include unlimited adjustments throughout the creation process. Post-delivery alterations — for example, following a change in weight — are offered within 30 days of handover at no additional charge.
Do you create gowns for destinations outside of your home city?
We serve brides internationally. Initial and final fittings are conducted in our atelier; intermediate fittings can be arranged remotely for distance brides, using our proprietary measurement protocols and photography-based review process.
What happens at the first consultation?
The first consultation is a 90-minute private appointment with our head designer. We begin by listening — to your vision, your aesthetic, your story. There is no obligation following a first consultation, and we do not present price packages until you choose to proceed.
